Question about Iron Grip (projectile damage)
Hey guys, so I was thinking about Iron Grip node and it states that:
- Strength inherently grants 0.2% increased physical damage with melee weapons per point. Taking Iron Grip applies this bonus to attacks with ranged weapons as well. And the Strength bonus is: - Every 10 strength grants 2% increased melee physical damage. So I´ll rephrase the strength bonus as: - Every 10 strength grants 2% increased projectile physical damage. So, if I use Spectral Throw with a physical dmg weapon, I´ll get the bonus, ok. If I use ST with a elemental weapon I won´t get the bonus. But what about Added fire, or Hatred? Do I get the bonus for projectile physical before the conversion to elemental? Or do I get the bonus only to the physical part of the projectile? Last bumped14 сент. 2017 г., 12:38:38

Added fire and hatred are based on phys, so u will get the bonus as % of total phys dmg of your skills

Increased Projectile Physical Attack Damage
Just to make it clear, cause it doesn't work with spells. |

" As mentioned by Emdezetius, Hatred et al (Damage Gained As) do benefit from Physical Damage modifiers. The way this works is as follows: - Conversion (and Damage Gained As) occur before Damage multipliers - Converted Damage benefits from modifiers to the source type(s) Hatred grants 30% of base Physical Damage as Cold Damage. Because this Cold is sourced from Physical Damage, it also benefits from Increased Physical Damage (and variations thereof, such as Strength/Iron Grip), on top of all of its usual modifiers. Also, just a heads up, questions normally go in Gameplay Help, not General :> Последняя редакция: Vipermagi#0984. Время: 14 сент. 2017 г., 12:18:15
