Path of Exile become great game, because we provided feedback, we complained over and over again, we demanded changes, we pointed out at flaws and we got things done. We fought idiots who think that "It's free game, so if you don't like anything here, go find another game, you entitled bastard" as brave as we could on the battlefields that is forums and reddit (mostly reddit, because GGG don't really give a shit about forums, but still).
There is still people who think that Bestiary is fine. It's not. League implementation is terrible and still plagued by so many issues that should have been tested and fixed week before the League go live... Telling people what their opinions should be never works. Some people like the league. Let them. Some people don't.
It's not objective. You can't argue that you're right and they're wrong. All you can do is stir the pot to keep the fight between the two groups going. You seem to enjoy that, so have at it. |

The ability to separate "white knights" from "people disagreeing with you" is an art. I agree completely with you; Bestiary league's implementation was a disaster - for several reasons. Technically? Also a disaster. But the idea? I still like it. Having to "stop" for a fraction of a second to throw traps? Don't mind it a bit.
My "irritations" about the league goes towards recipes. They build this "Menagerie", but you're almost never there during the end game because of the recipes. It's awesome for leveling - I'll give them that, but we need more engaging recipes for end game. More recipes and more red monsters and I would enjoy this league more. I respect a lot of complaints. But the standard "This doesn't fit the ARPG genre" and "this isn't PoE" just do not cut it. Because this IS PoE and ARPG's have ALWAYS been about pressing buttons, killing monsters and crafting shit. I still think it's time that they do something about how much currency they've added to the game. They've given us stash tabs, but no expansion of the character inventory. I'd like to see a 2x5 extension of the inventory that would only accept currency items. We know they can do it... it's been done on the Chinese version of the game.
One of my main complaints about the league is carrying around nets. Call it a "slippery slope" but I just can't support adding stuff that we need with us to interact with the game. Plus they serve no real purpose. They don't limit your interaction because they're so cheap. They don't make the encounter more fun. I really can't see why they're even in the game, but given that they seem to want them there they should give us space to carry them. |

It seems the latest MTX and race event were some kind of flashbang thrown by GGG. People going crazy over this while all other issues are totally forgotten about. (Gems Balance, Masters, current league etc.)
