Client will not launch (neither Steam nor standalone)

I recently reinstalled Path of Exile, but I cannot get it to start.

Via Steam, the game appears to be launching before it stops after a few seconds.

The standalone version of the game appears to crash right away.

For both versions of the game, Windows Event Viewer is showing 0xc0000005 error codes.

I deleted the Path of Exile folder from Documents/My Games, in case it was an issue with an old config file.

I have Validated the game files via Steam and found no problems with the files themselves.

Try to reinstall Visual C++ Redistributable Packages, GPU drivers and DirectX runtime packages. In that order.

Neither the Steam nor standalone versions have Visual C++ Redistributables as far as I can tell. I have updated my GPU drivers and DirectX.

Still, the client seems to crash upon startup.

Try to launch with --nologo parameter. Maybe this is something related to the startup video (gears)..

I have tried launching it with --nologo, but the same problem persists.

Since I also get this problem with a clean install of the standalone version (content.ggpk blank and not yet downloaded), I have to assume that the problem is some incompatibility between my computer and the executable.

I have the exact same problem - I tried both versions. I also tried deleting everything PoE related, redownloaded (also steam AND standalone). Even reinstalling GPU drivers and DirectX. The client just goes black with a mouse cursor - then closes itself immediately.

The client worked just fine just 1-2 Months ago. I didn't change anything in that time.

I have the same problem, and tried all the suggested solutions.

Fixed it!

Completely removed my graphics driver with DDU https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html in safe mode and reinstalled the driver.

I also have the same problem. I've installed the game manually and via Steam and the issue persist. Windows log:
