AWWW FUCK they changing maps again
" well if you play in the dumpster you get treated like garbage its been clear for a long time that GGG is not super interested in standard I dont see any any key!

" Except one small thing. Currently this "dumpster" looks much more attractive and predictable, then refurbished and unfinished content served in leagues. Looks like next league will be something in style "wonnabe Incursion", with forced spell meta. I will give it a try of course, but retreat to standard immediately after detecting some particularly irritating stupidities. Besides, now in standard I have almost all Syndicate recipes unlocked, deep Delve depths, plenty of sulpshit and azushit on strong, well equiped characters... Why to bother with league, when I have to unlock whole atlas anyway? If I can think like that, others can too. I know players who doesn't even touch league content since Pokemon league disaster. If GGG will continue with releasing leagues like Bestiary or Betrial, soon they will face a boycott of such trash in favor of standard. Последняя редакция: postrach_myszy#3054. Wish they will change up the atlas for every new league, I love it! Wish they would change the passive tree a lot more often too, it gets stale. If they somehow could randomly re-arrange the passive tree somehow, people would have to figure out the best paths etc more often.

" hmmm, I smell some sarcasm here. If not, you have clearly too much time on your hand. |

" Its not sarcasm. I want them to change things up more often, keep things fresh. |

I really enjoy the shakeup every league. I can definitively understand why standard players arent amused with the lack of QoL, having to extract thousands of maps. But in leagues, i like not running the same shitty t1-2 maps every league. It feels great running maps that are varying in difficulty every league :)

" Ya I totally get not wanting to run the same maps over and over again.. yet that is exactly what you signed up for with league play and entire progression resets remember? Those progress resets are exactly what I hoped to avoid trying to play STD. Keep your progression resets out of Standard GGG. |

" because ppl dont care about the characters, or progress they made, they dont want stupid economy etc. they use league as an excuse to start again. |

" Don't forget nerf everything every patch. Oh wait... Alva: I'm sweating like a hog in heat
Shadow: That was fun |

" Luckily, I'm not that addicted to their product so far. It's too much hassle if GGG serves us their game this way. They are of course free to try and I am just as free to take my leave. You see, I really think they need a 'fair' policy in a game like PoE. Otherwise it just breaks down. Take those legacy items, for example. There is no coherent policy how they decide which items are turned into legacy version and which ones are nerfed for every version. This is a loot based game, let's face it. If GGG takes arbitrary measures with it, there is little incentive for hoarding any. And that's about it -a loot based ARPG loses much it's charm if after all the hard grind any virtual achievements can be robbed from a player in a whim of a patch. It's actually dependent on overall power creep, because introducing OP stuff in game (whether it's OP uber monster content or OP tools to defeat such content) either makes old items comparatively outdated, or stuff rotating to standard needs to be retrospectively nerfed. Game's long-term power consistency gets thinner and thinner. They can say they don't care about standard, but they had better start caring, for people indeed play standard as is being witnessed here. Map tabs with ever changing atlas is icing on the cake. I feel there are too many holes in their 3 month rotation stategy which should be addressed. Long-term fans who may have less gaming hours should be also taken into consideration whilst developing the game further. Like seriously, if GGG decides to retrospectively nerf items into ground, they should actually refund owners of those items by giving them a one time optional new unique to choose from. Blizzard at least understands this by letting their CCG Hearthstone players reimbursement of dust once they decide to nerf a card into ground. It's virtual value, sure, but people appreciate their long-time collection of virtual cards. I really feel like GGG hasn't thought any of this through at all. The map tab issue was a clear evidence about it last time. |
