Such a terrible act1 and rng that I considered just peacing out when I had to go for a third refill on Merveil. Decided to play it out, and the shit rng continued to follow me until late docks where I got a nice weapon. Helmet found in late act2 but had to scramble for equipment to get the strength to use it. Had to dump the leather belt. Surprised I caught up as much as I did. Had I movement speed and or another quicksilver that I could use, this may have been in the bag. Had a slow race, with no move boots until act 2 and a ton of fully explored maps. Also crashed halfway up pyramid, though i was far enough behind others in my class by that point that it didnt really matter. On the bright side, there was little desync and none of it caused bails. Closest i came to death was yoloing a bit too greedily in weaver, got focus flickered down to 10% life twice. Gear looked good early on, with an alch on a quiver at ledge that granted lit damage and attack speed, with a damage and attack speed blue shortbow in climb. That was the end of the good gear, with no more currency beyond trans and zero impressive rolls on anything. Ended with a 10-15 cold damage bone bow. At least i didnt struggle with basic gear. Grinded it out in sarn as i wasnt going to catch up to those ahead of me in docks. Ended 4th in class at level 30. GG all, see you next race! Edit: Turns out my gloves were decent.
