you guys are really into this kill-nerfing stuff, aren't you GGG? into forcing players to now run 3 auras to attain the same effect, knowing full well some players can barely run one. here's the thing guys: Purity was so popular for one reason, and one reason only - the elemental-hitting monsters in the game hit so hard, it's almost as if they are assuming 90% resistance to their element. all three kinds. you enter an area and get pounded, unless you have well over 75% all resists, a truly huge pool of life/ES, or preferably both. Purity was the one that allowed the not-uber-geared like myself, to survive. barely. no more. yeah you must be really enjoying this. Alva: I'm sweating like a hog in heat

what this does is:
1)ele reflect is now even more deadly 2)everyone skips end game bosses because 1-20 hours of play time is not worth the microsopic chance to get a map 3)force players into building more ES or life to compensate 4)strengthens group play if you can coordinate the stupid amount of purity auras. It was a change for the better imo. Although it is another group buff(not huge fan of this aspect

" You don't understand, it's part of their design philosophy that anyone with less than 50 exalts to spend on gear can't enjoy their playing experience. It's how you create a hardcore experience when every other aspect of the game is pretty much faceroll. Gives people a false sense of achievement. Vote +1 to change Path of Exile to Path of Nerfs.

I considered you more educated than to believe that this is such a bad thing, when any map boss generally only requires one elemental resist to be buffed above 75. Ele reflect was nerfed. They buffed map drops. I highly doubt many groups will coordinate auras to such a degree either, just for a couple of extra resist percent. Also, minus max maps are perfectly doable most of the time, with the exception of some bosses being particularly difficult (Crematorium for instance - hence don't roll minus max on this map). Return to this flameless sunder
