I'm trying to make a summoner / physical bow using ranger. If anyone could give any advice it'd be great!

I wouldn't take the spectre node if you're going ranger. Take the other + skeleton, +zombie node or lord of the dead instead.


I'm gonna go off my attempt at making a summoner Mara when I say this.... but you're not gonna feel like a summoner until around level 25 when you have at least 2 +minion nodes on your character.


I have mixed feelings on summon spectre (spectre gorillas are great. So are bears. You have to be careful which things you get with them).


You will be summoning skeletons a LOT (as an archer, you should probably attach it to a totem so you can focus on shooting... otherwise you'll be summoning more than shooting.)

This build looks great, I would also be interested in knowing if anyone else would find this a viable build.

Revised build with more health, less phys bow damage, more zombie/skeleton, less specter, and other small tweaks.

Here it is with CI and energy shield instead of health. Not sure if this would be better or worse.
