LAG problem - High packetloss

Me and some friends have experienced much trouble with lag the last few weeks. Things like getting "teleported" back, mobs getting "teleported" away or right in front of us and stuff like that.

So we did some testing with WinMTR. It seems like we have really high packetloss at the second last server.

Yes I know I got packetloss between my router and my PC.

Well, i've been reading alot of threads about this same problem now. Seems like most of those who post WinMTR-results have problems with the last networklayer node. The one that starts with po1 or po2 in my three cases. So why isn't anyone from GGG addressing this problem? With this many people having the same problem with the same nodes on networklayers network, you should really start working on it. And not only that, you should update your customers (everyone who plays PoE) on what's going on. And if networklayer can't keep up with your needs, then you should seriously consider moving your servers somewhere else or do whatever needs to be done. Because, this isn't ok.

I really love this game. I really do! But with all this lag, it's not fun to play. And don't tell me that this is a problem on my side. I have NO problem at all with ANYTHING else. Only with PoE and by the looks of it, only with that last node at networklayer.

Right now i feel like a broken record that just repeats "problem with networklayer node" over and over again. But there definitely is something wrong with it.

And to you Syph. I'm no expert, but i think it's fair to say that those few lost packets between your computer and your router have NOTHING to do with those 28% packetloss at po1.

You, me, my two friends and everyone else who posts logs with huge packetloss at the same networklayer nodes can't be wrong. It's definitely something that can and will create lag.

Here you have another WinMTR log from me. I tried it agains the last server i played on. That that it matters since you still have to go thru networklayer network. However, i let it stay on the whole day just to see if i did my other tests at some bad time of the day, and to see if it was a constant packetloss. And it seems it is. 11% loss on a more than 7 hour long test is really bad.

To GGG employees. I'm sorry that i might sound a bit irritated and frustrated, but when i see that you reply in other threads but not mine, i tend to feel that way. You might just have missed this thread or I might have missed something. If that's the case, then please tell me that. If not, please take this seriously. This is a valid problem that you should address. I hope we'll get some answers now. Either here or in a post on your News page about this problem and what you're doing to solve it.
And last, please excuse my bad spelling, bad grammar and so on. I do however believe that you understand what i'm writing at least.

I have the exact same issue, for about a month now. I believe it is at the same node as well.

Here is a trace route to the last instance server from my client log: There is ALWAYS packet loss at that single node. The packet loss on the group of IPs seem to be shithole Comcast (they maintain there is nothing wrong)

Again this has been happening basically since release, making the game just about not worth playing at this point. I have been playing and supporting this game since closed beta without issues, and now I'm at my breaking point. Please can we get an answer on this...

Latency has been shit lately, atm my ping looks like a heartbeat chart going from 28 ma to 200 ms up and down. Been only the last days like that

Can someone from GGG please make a statement about this? I don't like to live in the dark. I want some answers please!

Having the same problem with the exact same nodes,

same problem. There are instances that are unplayable for me. The only solution for me is to leave that instance (if I don't get disconnected) and create a new one and hope that new instance does not lag.

Same issue here,
I'm from just outside Vancouver, Canada using Telus as my ISP.

I can go from days of playing at 70 ping to other days where the ping is 300+ and even 500+

This is the exact same issue for a friend of mine with the same provider who's a few blocks away.
