This build has no life leech, the one on molten shell could be ignored if you want to put other support to it and it also doesn't use life flasks, the one I have is for curse dispel and curse invulnerability during its effect.

To heal I use ruby flasks which make me invulnerable to fire and let me regenerate life for 10%+ per second during it's effect. Before ripping I had 6k2 life and regening around 700hp per second during 4+ secondswith flask up, add to that 70% physical reduction with charges (90% with granite) and 77% resists. I might make a vid in sc to show the tanking possibilities :)

In the vids I don't use ruby flask during the fights, that's why I get chunked :)

That is correct, shame I cannot get the vid from twitch. Basically torture chamber boss has a buffed up storm herald attack, it killed me in roughly 2 seconds with 6k+ life and regening 700hp per second, life leech wouldn't have mattered imo, only damage mitigation could have make me survive that.

sorry I was being a bit of a smart ass. i didn't actually see how he died so it's good to know it wasn't a shortcoming of the build (at least not directly.)

I'm actually in the process of levelling this build for my new char (just lost an 81, then my 50 i levelled in 24 hours the next day. currently 48 again after 24 hours, i'm an addict... still a good 17 levels to go!). Seems fun in a crazy way.

I've read somewhere that concentrated effect only reduce the aoe but does not affect the damage. would empower be a good replacement instead of concentrated effect?

As of last patch RF is area damage and all area mods apply to it. Concentrated does affect Rf damage done to enemies. Updated OP

The shortcoming was mine by not kowing that boss was shuch a bitch :)

I want to try this but think the +3 wand might be a problem D:
will +2 fire + empower gem do the trick?

jep, you only need purity of fire on lvl 20. other way to get this is to lvl the gem with an other charakter.
