I think one of the "flasks" in the "flask slot" will become permanent. Like we will give up one flask slot for a permanent sprint flask.
With the removal of cruel they will remove the least popular or all side quests that don't award a skillpoint.

Or the quests will reward you with experience as well.
ok i will play your game here is my guess: you start playing the game you do 5 acts with side quests in every side area for skill points like even the ones that aren't used at the moment (dread thicket) with level scaling so by the end of this 5 acts you are around level 60 and you can start mapping but there is a second difficulty of the game where the monster level is like t10+ maps which you can access only after meeting some requirements in the atlas or something, the quest rewards in the 2nd difficulty of the game are ascendancy points bandits rewards, making the uber lab your 1st ascendancy points and only lab you run... By doing this they will offer 2 endgame options you can grind maps or you can grind the 2nd difficulty of the game.

seriously, we don't fear rogue exiles nowadays. they are nothing but walking pinatas!! even in rippy map mods they're no longer scary.
removal of cruel difficulty

and reallocation of it's quests more streamlined into other difficulties maybe even in completely different ways with more zones between to compensate for the missing "leveling" brackets such as reintroducing kaom's dream etc which was removed which will stretch the acts longer

would be my guess something that just makes it so that you "dont" have to farm zones to catch up to "x" content as far as acts are concerned and instead just play through it since the stretched zones make up for the missing levels so it will feel more natural

yes, they could get a bit more love.
(also the whole leveling areas could need more level spikes.)
but from time to time they can suprise you, got killed by a ghosted shildcharge one a few weeks ago, that one went realy fast^^

Cruel difficulty is removed from the game

A big issue with ARPGs is when you get your "end game set" it can feel like there is no incentive to continue farming. They may add something that will help with this, to always give the person a reason to go farm other than generating currency.

Another issue ARPGs have is trading. We are already expecting trade improvements, so that will likely be something that is added/fixed.

Everyone is saying dynamic leveling, but I'm not sure how they could do this. While you're leveling, you are usually a level or two LOWER than the zone you're in for optimal exp, so it wouldn't effect leveling. For maps, if the zone scales to you, then what would be the point of the map tiers? They would have to completely overhaul the map system and remove tiers if this were the case, thus making Atlas of Worlds not really a thing. Dynamic leveling will NOT happen, can I get a mirror for stating that if correct since everyone else is guessing it will? lol
Something about the itemization problem.

The number of worthless itens that drops for you. That huge list of itens that occupy the whole screen and forces you to use some Item Filter script.

My guess is that they are implementing something to get rid of this, maybe an internal filter of what you want to see, inside the game.

Maybe they will stack the itens not in the floor, but in a different screen/menu that allows you to see the loot in some organized way, letting you hide affix/suffix you dont want.

Like doing some maps, i dont need to worry about the itens during the run, but AFTER it, where i can organize the way i want to see the drops.

Cant wait to see what is this new mechanic =)
a unsolved problem of arpgs is that the games get dumped with one patch after the other and all the runewords, essences and fishing places turn it over time in a unfocused mess.

this problem will be solved by a rotationssystem that keeps sets of extended kontent in permanent change. the time between the changes could 8 weeks, or 6. and ~1/3 will change chronical and repeat in different constelations.
