Lvl 65 Blade Voltex Elementalist keep dying. NEED HELP!!

HI, this is my first time playing POE and I went with blade voltex elementalist. currently, i finished the storyline and am doing maps. But i keep dying to the blue and yellow mobs. I want to keep on playing more but it is frustrating to keep on dying and be in a stalemate.

Your character is too under leveled. I like to keep my character level at least two levels higher than the map I am running when doing the Atlas. You can go back into the story and level up some more real easy.

Do you know how to trade? Get on pathofexile/trade and buy yourself a six link body armor. Do your second ascendancy run, that really helps make your character stronger. I'm not a fan of using the Elementalist for Blade Vortex, it should be done with Shadow in my opinion. But maybe other people can help you get the right build for what you are doing.

Yeah I know about poe trade and i have been using it but 6 linked body armor is just too expensive for me at this point lol. I do not have 20+ chaos orbs so maybe i should farm for them and then buy it.

I got this build from someone in youtube called Ghazzy so maybe i can ask him directly about the build.

I think so, you can gain a few levels then try the Atlas and if you die then back track some more so you can level up. A five link body armor usually takes about five minutes to farm up the currency for it. So that would be a start.

Ok, I'm going to list some easyish things you could do to make your build better:

1.1) Get 75% to all elemental resistance. Currently you only have capped fire resistance, try to cap cold and lighting, too.

1.2) Please for the love of god get an amulet that gives you life and crit chance

1.3)Easiest way for you to cap your resistance is to get a couple of cheap rings on poe trade. Here is a poe.trade search that might help you: http://poe.trade/search/hukiharitokima

2) Get some boots with movement speed, resistance/life.

3) Roll the "seething" or "bubbling" prefix on your flasks.

4) Upgrade your gloves to hrimmburn.

What about the chaos resistance? do i need to raise that also?

It's not as important as elemental resist because chaos kills you really slow. I like to keep it at -30% or higher.
