28 Delves Later

I'm not imagining it, am I?

The music when exploring the mine really does incorporate the 28 Days Later theme, right?

I mean, I know that it was also used in the Fall of Oriath trailer, but movie trailers get spiced up with themes from completely different movies all the time (e.g, Lux Aertana). Sort of a practicality when the movie (or game) music is currently being composed.

But hearing it in the game soundtrack proper is a different matter entirely.

It would be like if Quentin Tarantino made some sort of Western film and incorporated music from John Carpenter's "The Thing" in its soundtrack. It's not like that would ever happen.

I was thinking the same thing. It really sounds like 28 Days later theme and I'm loving it, as usual.

Yeah, the theme is a remarkably good fit for delving into the darkness, which is weird since it was written to fit something altogether different.

This was my first thought when I entered the mine.

It doesn't incorporate the theme, but it does have similar notes and a similar progression, so I know what you mean.
