help new ES leech with life leech nodes and vaal pact

currently playing an attack ES build.

using vaal pact with "attack damage leeched as life" nodes on the tree to get leech from.

will these still work in 3.6 or the ONLY way to leech will be using the new ES leech gem? ( since there are no ES leech nodes on the tree for an ATTACK )

please help

yes... else how can i leech ES in current patch

you have attack damage leeched as life. ghost reaver says "leech ES instead of life". This is still going to work. You'll still leech ES instead of life.

But i have no idea if vaal pact will make you leech MORE per second.

this is my question:

before 3.6 patch:
LIFE LEECH is applied to energy shield instead
ALL life leech sources from tree, items, jewels, vaal pact all works.

after 3.6 patch:
Ghost Reaver now causes you to leech ENERGY SHIELD instead of Life

does this mean LIFE LEECH sources like nodes on tree, jewels, items, vaal pact which LEECH LIFE won't work anymore? because new ghost reaver says LEECH ENERGY SHIELD instead of life.

if this is the case, ES leech gem is going to be mandatory as ONLY source of leech for attack ES builds.. what a nice build diversity
while spell damage es builds from nothing now have dozens of leech nodes

currently with:
ghost reaver
1,6% attack damage leech as life
40% incresaed life leech per second
3% of maximum life per second to maximum life leech rate

and no vaal pact, i can't even leech back the degen caused by blood rage

with vaal pact i can leech back blood rage degen and much more


will vaal pact and current leech sources still work with ghost reaver? else ES leech will be almost trash
