Chaos Golem Buff Not Adding Right (bugged?)

I have been trying to stacks Chaos Golem buff for maximum physical damage reduction. However, it seems it has not been stacking well. Either the buff has diminishing return or it is bugged. I have 9 golems with the 2 golem ascendancy buff increase. I also have two primordial bond and the the passive tree three nodes. I also have the helm with 100% chaos golem buff increase and 2 primordial eminence. I linked the golem with empower to make it level 22 which suppose to give me 5% physical damage reduction. My gem is anomalous Summon Chaos Golem the alternate quality is buff increase by 20%. I also linked it to enhance for an additional quality of 24. This brings the total 7% physical damage reduction per golem. Adding all the mentioned above, I have a total of 760% buff increase. with the original 7% and the 760% buff increase I am suppose to get 60% total physical damage reduction and I only get 45%. please help me understand whats going on here.

This still doesn't add up to the 45% I am currently getting.
The buff originally gives 5% even without buff increase. Then you add all the buff increase and alternate quality. I am suppose to be having between 55% and 60% depending on how you calculate it addition before or after multiplication.

can confirm. I have 7 golems total with the primordial chain amulet. that should be 4% x 7 golems for 28% phys reduction. However, the tooltip in game and in Path of Building only 20% phys reduction is being provided. Looks like there's a hard cap perhaps on golems? Or this is in fact, a bug.
the value your interested in is buff effectiveness not # of golems (which contributes)

7 golems is 420% base for example 50% per golem and 70% from the +1 golem passives.

420% will give you a chaos golem buff effect of just above 20% which gets rounded to 20% as your experiencing.

In your case Andy I think your expecting golem buffs to stack and they don't, you can only have one of each golem buff active so you don't run 7x chaos golem, you'll generally run 2x stone, 2x chaos, 2x lightning, 1x flame for example.
