Is Windripper still worth getting?

If we compare windrippers stats to a decent elemental bow like this one,


is it even worthit to aim for one? it has a bit better critrate and attackspeed but lower ele dmg.

It is still worth getting one, but a good ele bow can out dps it. Its your choice, do you want a bit less dps and a lot of mf bonus or more dps but no mf bonus? Keep in mind that crit and attack speed are to very important stats at wich windripper still excels in.

I'm wondering if anyone has done a comparison between them in 2.0.

I know mathil did one in beta, where windripper clearly outshined the ele bow, but currently it's hard to tell.

I think there is no point in doing a comparison because Windripper provides so much dps that you will be able to use it to clear anything. So if you get an equal or higher bow in term of dps it doesn't provides much, but its cheaper.

So whaf we are really talking about is : do you want to pay for some crazy Iiq and iir?

If yes, then windripper is worth it. If not, better buy a cheap elemental bow.
