Dual wield weapon effect "scam" by GGG?

I've both awakening and Axiom weapon effect which applies to both weapons.
Today I felt like upgrading to infernal effect for my weapons.
To my suprise I see it only affects 1 weapon, not both.
Not anywhere does it give me any info...
Why do I get effect on both weapons with the axiom and awakening and not the one I paid friggin 28$ for????
I just thought it would apply to both weapons , hence why I bought it in the first place...

Looks like a special perk you get for buying the supporter packs. All the regular mtx apply to a single weapon.

Effects applying to both weapons is not the norm. It was changed specifically for supporter weapon effects in response to player feedback, because it's not really feasible to get two copies of the effect (although applying a different effect to the off-hand weapon will overwrite it). But for normal store-bought effects, it's one effect per weapon.

I agree, it would be good to have some more clarity about this for people like you who use supporter effects first and therefore think all weapon effects apply to both weapons.

If you talk to GGG support, they'll probably be able to arrange a refund.

I´ve read it´s written somewhere, not sure where. Anyways supporter pack weapon effects apply to both weapons because these are limited and unique. Another thing is I agree with effects being overpriced for me who hardly get 2$ a hour on my summer job.
