using this chest on my marauder. if i link cwdt with immortal call what would happen when i take a hit? do i lose the endurance charges before they are used up by immortal call? |

Skills have priority over items on spending charges and you will also gain onslaught.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

just after i posted i found that info on the wiki too. didn't think it would work. so there is actually a way to get those automatic immortal calls off then. that's nice.

Be advised, bosses like academy will shred you with this armor if you relay on it purely for physical mitigation.
You can only gain 1 endurance charge from the boss and it will constantly trigger the onslaught before expending it for immortal call. All other content was okay pre-awakening. I used it on my MoM duelist to negate physical damage sources and only take elemental based hits on my mana pool. But academy negated that entire defensive set-up. Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

" Damnit, Raics is usually correct on things. Something definitely changed in 2.0 though. I used this set up pre 2.0 and found it extremely weak post 2.0. I'll make a video for proof and report back. Effectiveness after the nerfs, personal call, it wasn't working as well as pre 2.0 for me. Edit for clarity: Charges will be used for either immortal call or onslaught. Immortal call takes priority. What changed was: immortal call cool down increased a lot damage threshold for cast when damage taken was increased (unconfirmed but pretty sure) Something I'm not clear about though, if you take no damage does it count as being hit? For example, reflected physical damage while immortal call is active. I should have made a video when I was testing these things post patch :(. <3 Free Tibet <3

Yeah, a hit counts even if you take no damage, however reflected damage doesn't count as a hit. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

^it's the immortal call change your feeling.
Nothing about the item itself changed though, might just need to invest in a bit more endurance charges or the increased skill effect duration nodes (so it last's longer then the IC duration/cooldown) And yes, you are still being hit, the damage is just reduced to 0 since you have 100% reduction to the source. " what do you mean i will only gain 1 endurance charge from the boss? the chest only grants an endurance charge on kill so i won't even have 1 charge until i kill the boss :) |
