Has anyone else encountered problems with latest amd drivers (15.12) ?

for the past few days the display driver has been crashing in poe (1-2 times a day), i was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem

system :

cpu : fx -8350
gpu :sapphire radeon fury
16Gb Kingston DDR3 memory
samsung 240 gb ssd
motherboard : crossfire v formula z
windows 10 (64)
display driver 15.12

Hey mate, I have a setup similar to yours with Windows 10 PRO x64 recently installed.

Last time I checked driver 15.30 (Crimson Radeon) was the latest edition.So you could try updating those
and see if it helps.

If that doesn't help you might have a same problem I had recently (also with crashing drivers).


The issue is with Win 10 TDR (Timeout Detection Recovery) setting in registry.In a nutshell, if the operating system does not receive a response from a graphics card within a certain amount of time (default is 2 seconds), the operating system resets the graphics card.Increasing the default TDR setting to 8 seconds gives the graphics card enough time to complete its task.

Yeah iirc recently AMD replaced their Catalyst software with Crimson and 15.30 is the latest.You can
download their auto-detect utility, and check for updates with it from time to time.

15.12 = 15.30 folks. 15.12 is the driver package including 15.30 display driver.
