"Checking Resources" forever every time.

I can't get PoE to install. I get "Checking Resources" forever every time. I googled for possible solutions and tried them all, being:

- disable AV / firewall
- delete specific files / folders in the install directory or in documents - my games
- restart PC
- run as administrator
- wipe all PoE related stuff and redownload the installer
- use the directx installer in the PoE folder
- install into a different folder

Nothing worked though. I'm giving up for now because I don't know what else to try :(

Same issue here.

PathOfExile.exe according to the task manager is using a constant RAM and no CPU.
Changing language does cause a CPU usage, but it returns to 0 immediately.

I had this issue once and all it took for me was to close the launcher and start it again and it worked. No idea why, but I assume you have already tried this :/

Tried a VPN and the issue has been solved. ISP has been acting up lately.
Now for an 8gb download.
