Chitus' plum

I accidentaly picked up the chitus' plum from hedge maze in act 3 normal.

I didn't feel like doing the quest at the time and decided to save it for the same quest in cruel but it doesn't work turning in this item to captain fairgraves in cruel. He remains unresponsive and the item is glued to my inventory taking up space there.

Is there anyway to remove the item now? It takes up a spot in my inventory for no reason.

Yeah, give it to Fairgraves in Normal. He's just right next to the waypoint in the docks so shouldn't take you more than a few seconds.

I'll try that thanks. Thought i needed both items for the quest.

You can always go in any other zone except towns and hideouts and just drop quest items there if you don't need them. you can't drop or destroy them in town but everywhere else you can.

I have been playing this game so long but there is a lot i still don't know. Like this.
