Divination Cards feedback is stupid........

I disagree, and it doesn't change the fact that only use for divi cards is not to farm them, but to trade them.

It is TCG inside poe, and not deterministic way of farming items. They are only useful in my personal case, to farm first 10 exalts to gear my character in a league, and thats where i stop farming them.

I'm against raising the card drop rate, btw.

I could only bare to watch a few minutes seems like the video is pretty meh. OP items are not coming out because of divination cards, GGG is not intentionally making them soo people will buy them, they make these items to keep interest in the game.

Ive said this probably 100 times now, people who play this game regularly and have been playing the game for years quite literally have found everything the game has to offer. Many aspects of an ARPG are important but a very big aspect for Path of Exile is the loot, especially because of how it affects builds.

If they add items that offer nothing interesting, they wont get used and people wont care for them. Varunastra is a great example of an interesting item that opens up many builds that normally would not be available to multiple classes, its by no means an "OP Broken item". Strong ? Yes. Broken ? No.

I have my issues with Divination cards, that being their trivialization of multiple aspects of the game, such as the Dapper Prodigy.

I saw mathils video and i completely disagree as well. Making them drop more often but making their set requirement significantly higher only leads to give the illusion of it being better, when it isnt. Its not only a completely unneeded change but it gives the player a FALSE sense of progression.

If the video is worth farther listening to please let me know, the first handful of minutes are off putting, i skipped around a little and it doesnt seem to get better.

Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in!

I haven't seen all of the video linked, but I do know this:

GGG implemented Divination Cards as a method for players to actually farm specific items. Not trade for cards, not have an increased chance of getting something, but actual farming.

But in reality, Divination Cards are not farmable. They are just as rare as what they yield. I've gotten many, many more raw GCP drops than I've gotten full sets AND individual cards of the GCP return. You would think that a DC set would drop at least as often as how many GCPs it gives.

I also tried farming Voll. But after only fifty runs and no card, I knew this would take far too much effort and my time would be better spent farming maps for any and all currency I could get my hands on, flip that into exalts, and then buy a Voll's Devotion I would actually enjoy.

In my opinion, Divination Cards should just be removed.
Something I have not heard brought up but would like to discus, the concept of making cards account bound.

Watched the rest, i still dont agree with the first part but the video ends up being about players acting entitled and telling them to stop acting entitled, which i fully agree on.

Its honestly hilarious how people keep spreading misinformation that divination cards were supposed to be farmed, the most hilarious argument for that is "they have a drop rate, soo they must be farmable!".

Guess what, everything else in the game has a set drop rate too, thats kinda how an ARPG works. In before someone says "but it only drops off x,y,z!". Thats nothing more than flavour and balancing, imagine how broken it would be if they simply just dropped.

"OH HEY LOOK, I GOT A DOCTOR CARD OFF HILLOCK IN NORMAL, GG". Would be shitty balancing and would only further contribute to power creep and the rate in which people earn the cards, in addition it would completely devalue them. Everything about divination cards dropping has been planned with a pretty good amount of insight.
