Weird micro game freezing in PoE...
Hi Guys and Girls,
I'm having this weird small game freeze that I keep getting, it's as if if my computer is struggling but it really shouldn't. It's lots of very small freezes / stuttering that make game play kind of hard especially when a lot is going on in the screen. The game requires: RAM: 2GB GPU RAM: 256MB GPU Shaders: 3.0 CPU: 1.4GHz HDD: 8GB I have: RAM: 32GB GPU RAM: 4096MB GPU Shaders: 5.1 CPU: 11.05GHz HDD: SSD for Operating System, Dedicated SSD for Games, 5TB of Storage Space I've tried loads of things with the graphics including setting my graphics via the production_Config.inifile really low but that doesn't help in the slightest, I've tried using --nodx9ex, --waitforpreload, --noasync, --garbage-generation 1, --garbage-generation 2 but nothing is helping :( I have no idea whats going on. The problem appears to be some severe packet loss...
I've tried: - Restarted Router & PC - Tried on other computers. - Disabling PC's Firewall/Antivirus. - Making sure all programs are closed. - Disabling Firewall in the router. - Enabling DMZ for my computers IP in the router. - Disabling/Enabling UPnP in the router. - Tried OpenDNS, GoogleDNS and my ISP's own DNS servers. - Enabling/Disabling VPN Port Clamping - Static & Dynamic IP's inside the local network. - Factory reset my router & re-connected to my ISP. - Probably other things but I can't remember. in some situations noticeable micro freezes are cause by lockstep mode. for example, when I use my super high AoE splash Infernal blow on large pack, game freezes for fraction of second before everything blows up, because there are lot of things to be calculated at the same time, and the client waits for them to arrive from server. this delay does not exist on predictive mode.
btw, predictive mode is much smoother in general edit: but certainly do the connection health test before trying predictive, packet loss/internet lag wont make the game freeze but cause terrible desync issues IGN: Eric_Lindros CET: Timezone Последняя редакция: Ludvator#6587.
