Several New Player/Xbox Questions: Silver Coins? iLevel 51+ items?

What are the silver coins for?
What are the prophecy things, are they worth doing?
When do ilevel 51+ items drop. I have failed to make any 5 links in the Xbox Beta, so Im hoping 6 socketed items can help that..
When are we going to get any of the 3.0 changes to test out?
What good are the random NPCs that level up? What are they for? Items? Weapons? Besides the hideout you get etc...

You pay 1 silver coin to be assigned a prophecy.
Some prophecies are great. Some are ok. Some are worthless.

The ilevel of an item is equal to the zone level it drops in from a White mob. Blue mobs drop Zone level + 1 for the ilevel. Rares and bosses drop +2.

In your hideout those npcs (Masters) will each give you a crafting bench. Each has a different type of crafting bench you can place. Those benches can be used to add properties to loot you find (rares). As they level up it makes better properties available to be added.

Navali uses a silver coin every time you ask her for a prophecy.
Some prophecies are worth doing as they can give you double bosses, double lab enchants, 5/6 link success prophecies etc. However most of them are trash but you can only get rid of them by doing them or removing via more silver coins.

As for the random npcs that you level up....they give you crafting benches once you level them up. They are placed in your hideout and you can put mods on your gear with those benches. The higher level they are, the more options their crafting benches give you. The max level is 8.

iLevel determines the max intensity of a property that can be randomly assigned to an item when it drops as loot.

For example, you want a good +Life roll on your body armor. According to that site, to get a roll in the tier 1 range of 110 to 119, the item must be ilevel 81 or higher.

Although an iLevel 81 item can still end up rolling the lowest tier giving you a number in the 3 to 9 range.
