Adds # damage to /spells
Hi to everyone,
As an example Would the adds # lighting damage add to spells? or it wont matter at all? Do I need #adds lightning damage to spells rather than just damage? Please explain it to me # adds to spells # adds to # adds to attacks Last bumped20 авг. 2017 г., 13:41:41

So there is 2 types of skill gems you can use for damage, attacks and spells. Attack gems state they deal % of base damage, this damage is determined by the stats of your weapon. Spells state they deal # to # damage, this damage is unrelated to the damage of the weapon you are using.
Modifiers like adds # lightning damage increase the damage of the weapon and will work for attacks, but not for spells. Modifiers that apply to spells will specifically state that like # added damage to spells or be increases to global modifiers like % increased global critical strike multiplier. The dagger: - Quality is useless for spells, because it only increases the physical damage on the weapon. - The implicit global crit chance is useful for spells, because it is global. - Added lightning damage is useless, because again increase to weapon damage. - Attack speed useless, only affects weapon attack speed. - Crit chance for spells obviously useful. - Global crit multiplier is useful, because global works for spells. - Spell damage obviously useful. |

Now I understand it all, have a pint mate! Cheeers
One more thing, how about casting speed in daggers? does it apply to spells? |

Casting speed only applies to spells.
Attacks are affected by attack speed, spells by cast speed. |
