Mirrored Items

What are mirrored items and what do you do if you have a pair?

Probably. But this is the 'Gameplay Help' subforum. We try and maintain an at least minimally positive attitude 'round here, and assume someone asking a question is asking that question legit. If this was GD, though...

But yes. Kylia: 'Mirrored' is an item modifier that means the 'Mirrored' item is an exact clone of another existing item except with its art flipped 180 degrees (because mirror, yo). The 'Mirrored' modifier means the copy cannot be further modified in any way, much like being Corrupted. 'Mirrored' is not actually special of itself, it's strictly disadvantageous. A mirrored item and its unmirrored counterpart are not worth anything special together, they're both just items.

The Uber Holyshit Beyond-Rare currency item 'Mirror of Kalandra' allows you to make a Mirrored clone of any other item. This is used exclusively for extremely well-rolled rare items which are worth hundreds of exalts. Strongboxes and Prophecies will sometimes drop Mirrored clones of regular vendor-trash stuff, though. THose mirrored items are even more vendor trash than their originals, since they can't be modified/fixed up/linked if they drop in any sort of unusable state.

Hey thank you for that explanation. I have some of these items and I didn't know what to do with them. I have a filter on but sometimes the system drops more gear than I know what to do with and trying to 'remember' a vendor recipe for something is hard.

I have looked up some but ... it's like programming if you don't know the shortcuts you don't know what to use or keep.
