Flask macros

Hello, I have such question: I have pathfinder with almost endless flask and all of them are just buffs for me. Is it legal to use macros that will give me ability to use all of them instantly by clicking only 1 button? So boring to click all of them every few seconds. Or it's a cheat?

How is it less boring to click only one button instead of 4-5?
Anyways, concerning your question, GGG's policy is pretty much "one button one action" so if one click activates all flasks that would be cheating, afaik. |

It'll get you banned as it always has and really quite publicly has (even the tard argument of using a popsicle stick has been publicly stated as bannable)

A macro can only perform one server-side action, a single time, per button press.
If you press one button and your character pops multiple flasks, that is doing multiple things with only a single input, which is partially automating gameplay. Not okay. "VPs are not required to change their posting style. They are still welcome to express their opinions and take part in any discussions they wish. Their only responsibility is to continue doing what they have always done - posting in a friendly and constructive manner."

...and that, right there, is the spirit of the rules. Which is what you should use to answer these questions yourself.
I mean, ask yourself: would your macro make it easier to play PoE and do well than someone who doesn't use it? If yes, it's not permissible. |

This game has really interesting rules. Log out - nice, not automated macros - bad, tons of bots - ok. The problem is not on the way it makes my gameplay easier, the problem is that I should press 100 times button per minute instead of press one single. Almost all time I play solo and it has no effect on other players.

Logging out is not automating anything, it is just assigning a key to a function already present in the game.

they shouldn't be illegal, you get the same outcome from pressing them all manually as you get from a macro, it just makes it easier on your fingers which should in fact be promoted and legal to use and not the opposite way around, either that or neutral. i never play flask builds and the clicking is the reason why.
I usually do not read popular posts again after i made a comment on it, unless it's one of my own. I wish to have a Black robed Grim Reaper micro set in game one day, grant my wish, GGG
