Queen of the sands quest broken

My quest state says: "find a way to clear the sandstorm". According to other players, I should be able to talk to Sin / Petrus, but they have nothing to say to me.

Apparently storm blade quest is somehow bugged and preventing this one?

If I choose "the storm blade" chat option from petrus and vanja, they are just talking about the start of the quest while quest log says that I would need to get a reward from them.

Having this exact same issue. Someone posted in another thread that they talked to Sin in town and the issue was resolved but this is not fixing the issue for me.

Still missing my passive point from this quest.

Did you get the quest item from The Foothills and take it back to Oasis?

Do you mean the tablet or whatever that was related to quest with respec points as reward?

I didn't have any problems with getting the blade and trading it in for the bottled storm. but the boss at the end of this chain

Resetting now to try again

This got fixed by doing storm blade quest again. The quest had bugged but doing the event again allowed me to collect reward for that one, which unlocked the queen of the sands quest.
