100% GPU usage in game

I've had this proble since this morning (EU). Was working fine up until 8 hours ago. Today though it's a mess, low fps even if I turn down all graphics it's still uses 100%. Nonstop stuttering

I use win 10, path of exile 64 client and my GFX is a Nvidia GTX 770

Same here for me. About 80% CPU usage. Almost unplayable after morning update.

my GPU usage is manageable at like 50-70% (meaning it heats up from 60-70 C not optimal but still playable)

on the other hand CPU usage is CRAZY !
it shows only 40-50% usage but it uses this much cpu at max clock speed witch means it overheats like crazy
had no problems while playing on older patches , reached like max 50 C on old crowded places
now i get 60-70 C while standing still on tutroial island

i5-4690
GTX 760
wiondows 7 ultimate
playing trough steam

well if you really used an vacuum-cleaner on your graphics card enjoy it having it shorter lifespan

I have the same problem. CPU nearly at 100% (i7 6700K) and GPU also at 100% constantly (GTX 1080). My FPS Counter shows between 120-320 FPS but I constantly get microstutters, its pretty unplayable for me at the moment. I tried changing around all possible setting but still no solution.

Never heard about life span.

When using vacuum cleaner there can be "created" static charge on vacuum nozzle, witch once discharged, can destroy some hardware. Therefore keeping safe distance between nozzle and hardware is advised, nevertheless its safer not to vacuum at all - I vacuum from XT times - discharging myself and cleaner by contact with radiator, all hardware lives till today, but shit can happens :). There are special non/anti static electric vacuum cleaners, but are rather expensive.

Can you provide more info about shortening life span?

same thing here, i get 100 % gpu usage standing in my hideout


closing and restarting either the game or the pc will sometimes fix it

gtx1070 i7 and same problem
