Any way we could -NOT- have bestiary added to core?

Genuinely curious if that's even a possibility. Let's face it... this league is a massive failure from many aspects. Bestiary does have a few crafts that are pretty good/useful, but there has to be a way to add the good crafts into the game without adding anything from bestiary itself. I sure would not miss the beasts or the limited "zoo" I never even visited.

They've not added things from previous leagues, with the most recent being Harbinger where the only adopted element was the Orb of Annulment. It happens.

That being said, I hope they add this league to the core game. As a single league mechanic it's underwhelming (for some, not all), but as an addition like Prophecy or Essence I think it brings another dimension to the game that can be ignored or pursued if someone sees fit.

the only difference is that the harbinger content that wasn't added required much less dev time and ggg sure wants to add it to the list of "features" for marketing purposes.

they can keep the portal boss encounters and the new monster modifiers since it adds useful drops and monster variety, but the entire menagerie and beast crafting i would prefer to be dumped entirely.

Because in the 3.3 post they mentioned they were working on beastiary improvements i find it highly likely they are adding it to the core game.
This would be fine for the most part as you would have the option to completely ignore it sort of like prophecies.

I would be shocked if it wasnt added to core game just because of the way it was implemented

They could make it like a Zana Mod, but you activate it by going to the trapper dude. You give him the net you want to use and the next area you visit will have a beast to capture. You don't bring the net with you. You don't encounter beasts that you don't want to capture. It's 100% opt in.

You don't need to partake in anything related to bestiary except the occasional tougher mob...why NOT include it for those that would enjoy?

Please please dont add it to core.

If they add the nets to standard as items and not a hotbar skill I will flat out quit, the nets have completely ruined all the currency and map drops on the league.

This is not tinfoil hat nonsense its painfully obvious if you spend 30min running the same map in the same gear between the league and standard.

Idc about the beasts, you can skip them if you dont want to play pokemon. The problem with the league that has everyone up in arms are the diminshed map and currency returns, if thats added to the core game then fk GGG.

Only way for this to happen is if you personally give GGG all the development cost they used on doing bestiary league and under the condition that they will not add it into the core.

Otherwise fat chance.
