Elder influence and density
In 3.1 and 3.2 as you are probably all aware, people tried their hardest to exploit the war for the atlas mechanics in order to get higher density in their maps through ping-pong and then elder-ring setups. This allowed them to get more currency drops and substantially positive map returns while completely ignoring the entire war for the atlas mechanic. I fully agree with the change to remove the elder ring exploit but for those players who want to run the shaped map strategy still, without finding some even more cumbersome and unfriendly exploit, like only running maps in other people's map devices, or swapping characters every map so the 'tic' doesn't ever happen to run perm-elder, I suggest changing it so elder and shaper influence do not actually add density.
This allows players who prefer to engage with the mechanics to continue playing the way they were and be rewarded with shaper and elder items for doing so, while also allowing min-max speed clearing players to not feel like they're missing out on map return and currency by getting that extra source of density in their maps. Engaging with the war mechanics should be rewarding in a way that isn't also accessible to those who choose to completely ignore it.
