Thunderfist + Added Lightning Damage Support gem

Hi! Does Thunderfist modifier "Socketed Gems are Supported by level 18 Added Lightning Damage" work with "Added Lightning Damage Support Gem"? Or would be this combination nonsencical with no double effect? Thanks

They don't work together.
The item does like is if you had that gem linked on it, so if you try to socket another Added Lighting Damage support gem only the higher level will affect the active skill. |
