Character builder league

So main thing which hooked me on POE was its skill tree . I been playing for 2 months and still finding tons and tons of new builds and ideas I want to try. Unfortunately ALL builds in POE require decent gear to work. And some builds only shine in good to excellent gear.

Crafting and farming been most frustrating part for me in this game and really prevents me enjoying this game anymore . I mean I can make most amazing build on paper but then in game I stumble on merci because the best I can ever get is blue or garbage unlinked yellows. Unless I want farm for weeks and spents exalts to buy it


So I really would love to have a league where decent or even best gear is accessible of vendors for 1 wisdom scrolls or some such . I would even pay the premium microtransactions for it. You could have ladders in it based on like "highest DPS" ,"Highest life", "Fastest map clear" etc

That would also be great for noobs who want to try things out. Of course the noobs would never make it on the ladders, unless they stumble on a great build or are just amazing gamers.

I would definitely join such a league. Make it all about character building and playing abilities: no loot just drop counters
that you can exchange for exactly the gear you want to give the build. 1 counter to buy a rare item, 1 counter per affix you want, 10 counter for a unique. Nothing random. Just build and play.

I'm sure once players got a build they love to play in that league, they'll try to recreate it in Nemesis or Domination.

Might be fun to have a sandbox mode but that all it would be.

Also what items are you looking at that require a billion exalts.

You can literally get to maps with 3 chaos or under pieces of gear.

I don't think that having an option to give players instantly what they want in another league is a good idea, many people would just try plenty of things, not spending much time, and then just get bored.

One would not get the same satisfaction after building a normal character at all after, since it would take 2 minutes to build it in another league.

Just no, this isn't guild wars or any other shit game that would allow easy access to items in any way, it takes so much away from the game just so casuals can feel like they accomplished something.
