Feeding Frenzy Support - "aggressive" behavior for all active minions?

I ask since the wording is 'Minions from supported skills are aggressive' yet when I try to look around online to clarify a lot of people are saying they only link the gem to a single one of their minions since the aggressive behavior supposedly effects all active minions, even the none-linked ones.
