Amount of CI should affect status ailment chance.

When Anarchy League started, I tried starting a new build. CI Melee.

Little did I know, it's quite unviable for higher Maps (or lower Maps with certain mods). I am Cold Res capped and I constantly get perma-frozen by LMP skeletons. Heck, I can't even farm Catacombs for Maps since Catacombs is predominately cold-attacks.

Your first answer would be "get a Dream Fragments", right? I don't like the idea that CI Melee is forced to wear a Dream Fragments just for this case.

I have the majority of my Flasks as Heat Flasks and it works to no avail. Get in close with Dual Strike + Melee Splash, fight for a bit, get frozen, pop a flask, get frozen immediately after, pop a flask, etc. Then I'm left with no more Charges on my Heat Flasks and still frozen.

Life-based characters can avoid this problem by stacking enough Life so it doesn't induce a status ailment, right? Why can't CI characters attain the same thing if they stack enough CI?
Because that would make CI OP. Status aliments are the drawbacks to using CI. You also said it yourself, get a dreamfragments, also EOC(I know it's not in Anarchy), just saying.

Eye of Chayula is for stuns. A CI person can just get Unwavering Stance, as I did.

I'm CI Melee specced into US and IR but IR was recently nerfed to hell. I went from ~40% Dmg Miti to 30% Dmg Miti. Maps are much harder now + Getting permafreezed

If you dropped that much then you were relying on dex for most of your EV multiplier.

You can also get that new belt (Axium? Something like that) or use wanderlust boots. I feel your pain when it comes to cold, +75% cold damage is one of the few map modifiers I avoid. If freeze scaled with ES, no one would ever go life. It'd make no sense to.

They did just buff the cold/frozen evasion nodes. It boggles my mind that you can complain, and not actually take nodes designed for your problem.
