Something needs to be done about trade chat spam

Back in beta, sometimes people would post the same message to trade chat twice in a row, and it was extremely annoying. Now posting the same message three times in a row seems to be the norm, with some particularly insufferable people going beyond that on occasion. Muting/reporting all of these spammers means you can barely pay attention to the rest of trade chat, and besides after a few days the game informed me that my ignore list was full (why is there a limit anyway).

Can we please have some feature that automatically prevents repeated messages from being sent in chat? This would make trade chat 100000000% better (I did the math).

I agree but not only the spam. Now there are so many people selling that I can barely read the chat. It goes that fast that is annoying so I tend to disable it.

The Trade Chat is basically useless as it is now, because people have no chance to read the message among all that spam (so you have to spam your messages as well and that's just a no-go).

I've had similar issues with spammy trade channels elsewhere that are exactly as spammy as the trade channels are in PoE, with people spamming duplicate messages to get their offers trough the spam. I've noticed things being not much different in PoE trade.
In these cases I've used addons which suppress messages it recognizes as duplicates sent in a certain amount of time, which makes reading a lively trade channel alot easier as the duplicate spam disappears. Having an option like this in the chat interface would be something I'd really love to have.

Speaking of suppressing messages, one chat spam related feature that I've encountered elsewhere is that whenever I report someone for spam, it puts them on a temp ignore list for a certain amount of time (10-30 minutes). I always liked this idea, that there are people you want to ignore permanently, but if there's someone who's spamming enough to warrant being reported for it, it's clear you don't want them spamming your screen which they are doing because that's what you're reporting them for, so they get temp suppressed for the time being and not taking space on your permanent ignore list (which in case of ignoring PoE spammers, I've noticed fills up quite fast, and as the ignore list clearing is all or nothing, you're gonna lose some ignores that you might have wanted to keep).
This partially has to do with the xxserjart or whatever named RTM channel spammers (bots or people), if I have channels open, I usually report them because it's the right thing to do, but they end up filling my ignore list and their names won't probably be that important to keep in my permanent ignore list as these are usually temporary accounts to begin with.
But it would help alot with people who randomly decide to start spamming something, there's a ton of them in this game, you might never see them again, so adding them to your permanent ignore list kind of takes space from ignoring people who would have bigger reasons for being ignored.

Maybe there are some other solutions for the chat spam and whatnot, but having a means to suppress duplicate spam and having a temp ignore list for spammers would make for some huge quality of life improvements in regard to the ingame trading with how things are right now with not being able to manually prune your ignore list and whatnot.
