Random Framerate drops and loading screen CTD

Since last week I have been getting horrible framerate drops randomly in town and in other areas too. Really annoying and I have no idea what causes it. My video card is up to date and so is DirectX. I think it's because of one of the recent patches. It also sometimes crashes with the generic windows error(PathOfExile.exe has stopped working) in the Grinding Gear Games loading screen(50% chance in that screen that it will crash). It used to work just fine before and only started acting up last week.

its been happening with me lately too. Fucking horrific in docks when rare mobs are around me and the fire breathing dogs it rapes me. I have no idea why cuz my computer shits on all the brand new games maxed out. Not matter what grapgics settings I try. this game looks like diarrhea and shouldnt have started randomly started doing this to me as with the other people having this problem.
