Mortal Conviction please change the damn "less"

Why the hell is mortal conviction worded as % "less" ??? we ALL know PoE looovees to be all fancy and technical with their wording and mechanics and we all know any other passive or stat worded with "more" is additive while "increased" or "decreased" "reduced" is multiplicative.

So tell my why the hell is mortal conviction counted as multiplicative when "less" cries out it means it is subtraction..ESPECIALLY because there are % mana reserved nodes(Mortal conviction also states mana reserved) and they are bloody right next to it almost, worded as "reduced" and apparently will have the exact same effect?

Yes I am %#@$ing pisssssssed offf, I made a damn bow shadow for god sake in HC with the sole intention of going to pick up blood magic. it took me TILL THE END OF MERCILESS to even be close and when I am finally 3 points of being able to pick up this passive I learn how it actually works? And I am not pro, it will take forever to re roll (as I don't know how to progress my build any further at this point) If I ripped even I would be ok with it, the nature of the game and playing HC. But now I learn blood magic is going to be absolutely bat **** pointless, if you intended to run even one aura without picking up a massive amount of mana reserved nodes,which suffer from diminishing returns anyway since everything is multiplicative (which maybe I could have even planned for, if it wasn't for the wording.)

At level 68 now and stopped dead in my tracks, my build wont work much longer without picking up what I had planned for. of course I am pissed and of course this thread is made out of anger and I know I will be trolled and flamed but whatever.

If any one has any solid justification for this bull**** please fill me in. Maybe I am just ****ing stupid and missed something OBVIOUS about this. so please fill me in.

I can't. Why would you do that? Aura Shadow is actually kind of reasonable, but blood magic?

Increased / Reduced are additive. More and Less are multiplicative. This is because stats that are increased / reduced add their bonuses together into one big multiplier, while More and Less are multiplicative because they are always calculated as another multiplier to the current total.

Edit: I never got to the point! Mortal Conviction is Less because it needs to allow BM builds to still use an aura. It's not there to encourage aura builds to go BM.
