Not really new, you get points for every char, as long as they are in different brackets. Also, I wouldn't call it an "exploit", since the trade-offs kinda even things out: You can choose to protect your time investment by levelling to a certain bracket and then shelf that char to restart and aim for another one. Or you can race one char, taking a higher risk but also go for potentially better rewards like extra points for e.g. making the top 20 of a class. I'd say both are valid strategies. :-)

you can get points for chars from the same lvl brackets
the most obvious and easy to abuse example is from 100 min fixed seed you can get 3 points from 10-13 lvl bracket just have 3 chars with lvl 10,11,12 (or even 14 if you are willing to push hard enough) and when the race finished you will have 3+3+3=9 points! obviously you can just go all the way and get more points with top class finish but that takes a lot more effort and concentration (and not to mention more mistake prone) then simply getting 3 chars in the same bracket for easy points.. |
