Infinite Spectral Throw?

I wasn't playing when ST was new, and I'm only just beginning to experiment with the skill myself. Therefore I ask that you forgive me if this has been discussed, tried and shot down before. but I'm wondering if it's possible to stack enough run speed to "outrun" your projectiles, making them permanently follow you. Then I'm wondering if you can run fast enough to get MULTIPLE projectiles out and just have a giant conga line of death and destruction following you everywhere.

Potentially helpful things that come to mind:
Faster projectiles gem (the extra range might help you get away faster, but then again the increased speed might make them catch up more quickly)
Slower projectiles gem (see above, only in reverse)
Haste (Attack speed would help you get more projectiles out, run speed would help you escape their return)
Frenzy charges (attack speed, darkray vectors also provide movespeed bonus per charge)
EDIT: Quicksilver flasks/movespeed affix flasks

That's all I can think of off the top of my head, and honestly this sounds too good to be true, so I'm almost certain it is.

they seem accelerate as they return so the kinds of speeds your talking about is likely impossible to maintain as soon as your quicksilvers run out.

Do slower proj and faster proj cancel each other out?

or can you have fast projectilkes that move slowly.

it probably wont be what i thinking./
Smoother than Smooth.
Why in the world would you even want that though? That would be tedious having to run around constantly, when you can just mow everything regularly, it's not like mana cost of a spec throw goes past 90 mana anyways. Not to mention, you would need phase run to pass through single targets such as bosses since your hits will only hit things directly behind you.

they actually have a limited return range, and never come back if you run away far enough fast enough

I know this cuz I made a +235 movement speed char for fun. but yes, you can outrun them
