How do you give "gifts" in poe?

I am sure someone will want to RMT with them someday, but doesn't that whole market really revolve around cash? Those kind of people aren't going to be trading a spider pet + a portal effect for 4 exalts right?

Shrug. Would probably end up with people on 3rd party sites looking for those who want MTX's (or currency) and offering one for the other. "WTS 20 exalts for them there seraph wings."

I guess if they just keep an eye out for people sending gifts to a lot of randoms it will probably be fine.

I mean, not that i don't like sharing, but i still remember people begging for cb keys. Sometimes they were nice, sometimes not.
While i think that i could handle that, i'm not so sure about you guys handling rmt, chris. I'm sorry to say but the way it is now with rmt almost as open as can be you want to open up more ways for people to rmt/scam? Not a fan of the idea. I would be if i could trust in your ability to be in control of the situation, but so far you've pretty much failed in that regard.. :(
