Other than the jewel slots and the related shuffling around of charge duration nodes, it's all pretty much the same so far. The EB change is being tested, as is the Ondar's Guile. As suspected, it's really the jewel subsystem that GGG want testers to focus on, so they're not going to throw massive Skilldrasil changes in there, at least not yet. The Scion is meant to be a prestige class -- this is why new accounts have to rescue her first. It's presumed you'll have shit to hand down to her, including jewels. I like that she gets those slots -- the flexibility suits her placement and status as an advanced class. If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.
