GPU at idle when playing PoE.
how do i get my GPU to actually work? It's fucking around a 405 mhz core clock.

What you're not getting is that it IS working all that it needs to. You're getting 144fps.

I'm sure it's set to increase core clock and voltage, and spin up the fans to annoying levels once it really needs to. Feel free to tinker in the power-saving options of your video card driver utility.

" System is on water so temperatures are no bottle neck. Restarted PC and wallah GPU now at 1427 mhz core clock. But the difference in performance is zero. It's literally the same from 405mhz to 1427 mhz. I am sending you this message to let you know that I have removed your signature as it is designed to mislead others. " I said your GPU wasn't the bottleneck, I don't understand why this upsets you. The video card is doing all it needs to do, and isn't slowing down your game rendering at all, it doesn't even need to constantly increase core clock speed to be able to perform. What sort of things happen in the game that dips the FPS down into the 120s? Does Gsync work now BTW? |

Well, CPU is on water too around 50C when playing.
If i go fullscreen with V sync off, no tripple buffering and g-sync fullscreen only then it's waaay smoother. But, the same fps flickering still occurs between 120 and like 200 just up and down and up and down. If i turn all v sync, gsync etc off, just flickers between 200-350 fps and tears like crazy. G sync makes it okay down to about 40 fps. But going into the 20s makes it really bad even with g sync I am sending you this message to let you know that I have removed your signature as it is designed to mislead others. So when you do the frame limiter for 144 and have vsync and gsync disabled?
|

no framerate limiter in control panel, and framerate limiter on precision x is only up to 120.
