Poison and Point Blank (Double Dip?)

Does the Proj. damage from Point Blank apply to poison if it's delivered by projectile?

Even if it did double dip (which I am unsure of), it wouldn't effect EK at all. Both the point blank keystone and the gem specify attacks. EK is a spell, not an attack.
Keep PoE2 Difficult.

When the OP asked I went and checked that wiki. Now I am going to go to act 2 and check the gem in game ... -__- EDIT: point blank does specify attack, and doesn't support EK when linked. Point Blank doesn't apply to EK, as mentioned by Fluffy, and it will also never apply to Poison for the same reason.
Attack, Spell and Damage over Time are always mutually exclusive, unless a specific clause messes with this (Essence Drain, Contagion and Crown of Eyes). Because Point Blank is an Attack-specific modifier, it cannot apply to Damage over Time. |

Btw, are any of you using Poison with EK?
I tried a quick 6-link in a Tabula with Poison but it didn't seem to be worth the additional mana cost. I got some increase to projectile and chaos damage in my tree but it looked just lackluster. PoE needs better social features... and more cats!
