Remixed 2Pac song feat.Eminem

Case in point. Garbage.

First there is a vers in this song "Some say the ghetto's sick and corrupted" and there is Ghetto map and you can run it sick and corrupted ,and many more stuff like this. Who know maybe if 2pac was still alive and play Poe he would run Shaped Ghettos insted of Strands and meta would be tottaly different ;)

But why this song is garbage tell me plase ?
It is lyric or music ? Beat is bad, or there is no guitar there.
Or you only listen to Tchaikovsky from the start when you woke up.
I see black temples loom against the night
With tentacles like serpents writhed afar
And waving in a dusky dragon light
Great moths whose wings unholy tapers char.

I think you are just trolling the poor guy and you clearly understand why he got frustrated that fast, but just in case and also in order to explain what i'm looking for:

Although the songs you listed aren't garbage and within their genere may be considered above average, they are completely unrelated to the music on this playlist.

I'm looking for songs that empower the experience of whats happening on the screen without being relevant enough to override or distract you from what is happening, enabling you to immerse on the game as much as possible.

If you notice there is next to none lyrics on my playlist and if there is something its mostly a chorus here and there spouting some short sentences.

About the beats, it isn't wrong for the songs to have beats or loops, as long as they are withing the instrument range of an era like Wareclast would have, going for rap beats on this post is like going to a rap convention and start a singing out loud early Justin Bieber songs.

Ok so first im not english speaker, and becouse of that there was some misunderstanding about the post tittle. So you dont want ,a song, you want something betwen song and anthem. I checked synonyms for song and the closest will be like (music)expresion ?:) in my language you can gradate song word one tier higher... and there you have word smilar to song but you know 2pac and justin biber arent at that level. Maybe there is a word like that in english but i didnt found it ;/

Ok so then i started to look for music like this that will fit but it was like blind looking and by some luck i found this theme

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpnIrE7_1YA first 20 seconds haha now i will know who invented it ar lasr i lerned something more than synonyms of song ;d

Ok after some more time i found those and they might fit :) those ar not super long but i think they ar good and there is whole playlist of it there ar 3 best one from start i found.

I hope it helped this time ;)

My first thought on seeing the thread title was: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZNbabKjKpA but I'm not sure if it'd fit after reading :)

I've got a terrible connection or I'd gladly do the research myself, but maybe something from Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance (1 or 2), or Fallout Brotherhood of Steel, two console-bound ARPGs :>

Could be a gem or two hiding in Resonance of Fate's OST, or Neir's (probably Neir Automata too, but I haven't played it..), or maybe Phantom Dust (orignal XBOX)..

Not sure if it'll help, but maybe!

I can recommend the music of "Miami Nights 1984" and "Timecop 1983". Both artists are strongly inspired by 80's synth based music mixed with modern elements. I really like this type of music for it relaxing mood and the cool 80´s atmosphere, as child of the 80´s this is just like a time travel :-)

If you are interested just check out youtube for material.

Similar sound artists are:

Lazerhawk
Mega Drive
College
Kavinsky
Mitch Murder

Remember to support the artists by buying their records if you like their music!

The nostalgic attack almost kill me, my brother ran similar music while we played OutRun and similar games on the Sega Saturn back in the day, these songs hit me like a truck, sadly they dont fit on the playlist.

Just gonna throw in some of my own nostalgic rpg soundtracks, feel free to add or sort them out.

Divine Divinity (just like SoA a "make mistake and you're screwed, so keep saving - game, but so much fun!)
Divine Divinity OST
Very different tracks depending on the area - how about track 3?

Dungeon Siege II (not even that old in comparison afaik, but yeah)
Dungeon Siege II OST
Some are quite "battle"-heavy (e.g. track 2), some are chill (track 4), but maybe you find something?

Siege of Avalon (RPG, needs tons of patience or a good walkthrough, sadly not made to work with newer windows versions):
Siege of Avalon OST - HD Remakes
E.g. track 4, but might fit what you meant as "too slow"?

Could ofc add other nostalgic ones, mainly strategy for me, like Starcraft(/BW), Stronghold Crusaders, Age of Empires II, Empire Earth, American Conquest and Cossacks: Back to War (Sc, AoE and American Conquest being the most iconic osts imo), but it'd be a long search to find something fitting the RPG genre I assume.

Anyways, very nice thread and idea, thanks for your efforts!

Edit: Bet I missed many games with that first recap... Just recalled Knightshift for example, but while Rpg, I really can't find anything but the menu (too chill) or a full track thrown together. :(

Nice Feedback!

Surprisingly Divinity OS EE was at 50% discount half a month ago and i bough it, a heavily underrated game, the voiceovers are straight amazing, but it never ocurred to me to check the music of the franchise, so far i have only added Crypts and Catacombs from divine divinity (worst name ever for a game IMO) there are other two im pondering to add but they loop at half of the song with the exact same record and the vids are like 8 minutes long, it can get repetitive after a couple of replays.

Couldnt find anything worthy in Dungeon siege, either too slow, too repetitive or loaded with orchesta..., sadly there are ones worth listening but i dont think they fit for PoE background music.

Siege of avalon, again nice music but too chill and slow for this.

However, im going to check now Stronghold Crusaders, Age of Empires II, Empire Earth, American Conquest and Cossacks: Back to War, who knows maybe i find something
