Getting No Sound card detected error

No sound. Help! Every other game and application has sound. I have already tried verifying files on steam. Didn't work. Tried reinstalling. Didn't work. Developers help please. I am on Alienware 17 R4. Thanks

Hi technical support,
I have still received no response how to fix it. I have also e-mailed the issue . I really want to play the game. I know you guys may be busy . Kindly look into it and let me know the way how to fix it ASAP. Its unplayable without sound. |

More information about your system would be helpful.Are you using the integrated speakers? HDMI audio, or some USB audio device?
One thing to try for the time being would be loading the game using the software audio launch option: GUIDE "I would have listened... I would have understood!" - Scion

I am using the audio setting that I use for every other application and games. Its the integrated audio driver(realtek). I am on Alienware 17 R4. I dont use external devices for audio. All audio feed comes from the Realtek audio driver to the speakers or wired/bluetooth headphones.

The launch option settings didnt help. still no audio :(

What is ASUS ROg/ gamefirst? I dont have any such software on my system. I am not on ASUS.How do I add a screenshot here? Cant see any option to attach it

Anyone help please. or just say if you want me to uninstall the game. please dont keep me in darknesss. i will hapily move away from your game if you dont like me. whats going on. confirm. i have no issues inn leaving this game if it has no fix for it. just let me know and i will happily walk away without any grudges.

" Two things to try: - Try to force an update for you onboard audio ( through the device manager, or from the Alienware support page ) - delete/rename dsound.dll from your PoE folder ( in steamapps folder ) Hope this helps.
