Try running as admin and make sure windows has important updates installed.
If that fails and you have a good internet speed you can try to uninstall the game and reinstall it. |

Same here, was allocating space for like 30mins.
Tried running as admin. Windows is all up to date. Now after ~4mins it crashes with "Bad exception" |

everytime i try to download the patch with the launcher, i get an error and i have to restart... then i get another error and restart, 10 hours later i cant figure out what to do

Still can't install the game. Infinite checking resources.

I have the same issue. The game has been checking resources for longer than 2 hours and I don't remember having this last longer than 15-20 minutes in previous patches/expansions.
