[3.5] Soul Mantle Dark Pact Totems - League Starter - All Content

Updated for 3.5. The only thing missing are new gems in the PoB link.

I'll probably record a new Uber Elder kill on my old character a week or so after 3.5 arrives.

I was wondering how the dark pact compares to arc for bosses.
Trying to decide which league starter to choose.
I had a lot of fun with this build, experienced the real end game for the first time and was just wondering if arc isn't more powerful all around.

Not gonna lie, Arc is pretty op right now and probably better for T16+ bosses.

If one gets his hands on an atziris mirror, would you consider that an upgrade and swap out the rings and jewel? If so, what would you take in its place.

Right now its an upgrade, but in 3.5 you'll be able to get a veiled mod on rare shields that gives you an extra totem. This make the gap a lot smaller.

If you find it, it's best to also get this belt along with Pain Attunement on the passive tree:

Since you wouldn't need Kikazarus anymore, the best rings are just rares or Mark of the Shaper.

do multiple Multiple Totems stack assuming they are in different link sets? Could I have Dark Pact/multiple totems in every gear slot and just summon 17 Dark Pact Totems?

They don't stack, you can never get more than two additional totems from the gem, even if you use it multiple times in different skills.

In terms of which rares to pick there is no specific in this build like, prioritizing ES or evasion or armor, it is just pick the best item with the life + resistances?

The latter. ES gear has a minor advantage, but not enough that it should influence your gear choice really.

It's much more efficient if your mitigation comes from flasks.
