" he actually is making sense, and is correct. you can fundamentally reach 100% mitigation by adding the totals but it doesn't mean you can "reach" (as in have) 100% mitigation. those are two separate things. i don't think there is a cap, i think you can actually obtain 100% mitigation, but just saying that he does make sense. Sorry for bringing up the whole "there might be a cap" thing. It was just a suggestion. The case is clear now... he wasn't taking into account a effect from his helm.

Just btw, theoretical maximum for reduced reflected damage taken is 135% for physical damage and 145% for elemental damage. You can use fortify or other effects on top of that to be immune to reflect even with items like abyssus or self-cursed vulnerability (or the Berserker ascendency node, though you wouldn't have the Slayer one against reflect in that case).
