So I finally really learned what 'soul eater' actually does

It's kind of fucking hilarious to me when something's attack speed goes off the charts like that. He looks like those youtube videos of rabbits suddenly losing their minds and humping something at lightspeed.

Yeah, I think I'm going to just... avoid him when I head back in.

They were fixed. The problem was that there were too many "souls". All the worms created each granted a boost, and the Soul Eater was boosted beyond reason. So they took the souls off the worms. It's better now.

yesterday i had a soul eater mob in an area with a bunch of necromancers and he was getting extremely powerful. so i was like, okay, maybe i'll go kill the necro first because this guy is getting a little hard to deal with.

im pretty sure he was sucking up all the souls of what was being resurrected and killed again, because he was very clearly getting more and more powerful pretty damn quickly. not quite to that attack speed level though, thats freakin insane.

you think if they eat to many souls they get indigestion?

You're mistaken. Rare abyss monsters have a special ability similar to soul eater but that gave different benefits and only work with abyss monsters.

That's what was nerfed to no longer work with the pitworms spawns. If the monster also has the nemesis mod soul eater, haaaahahahah you better kill it quickly. The lightless grubs still have "souls", just not "spirits".

Once had a rare necro with soul eater. Also had regeneration and some defensive mod, I think extra life. It was darn hard to put down.

I REALLY want to see a necro feed hundreds of minions to a soul eater now, just to see how much more comically frantic the attack speed can get. This is one of my favorite videos on the internet right now (the part with the racecar sounds almost had me pissing myself laughing). I wonder what the funniest mob species to do something like this with would be.

Well, there is a map boss with soul eater that cast desecrate, spawns zombies and cast detonate dead. I used vaal summon skeleons in there and logged out pretty quickly. Haha.

Keep in mind this was a year or two ago when the game was a completely different game-state.

(i'm cyclonewitchisabitch in that video and tried to kill that converted mob after the video ended with 98% fire resist and i couldn't, it was just to strong, we had fun though feeding him the map)
