I REALLY want to see a necro feed hundreds of minions to a soul eater now, just to see how much more comically frantic the attack speed can get. This is one of my favorite videos on the internet right now (the part with the racecar sounds almost had me pissing myself laughing). I wonder what the funniest mob species to do something like this with would be.

Keep in mind this was a year or two ago when the game was a completely different game-state.
(i'm cyclonewitchisabitch in that video and tried to kill that converted mob after the video ended with 98% fire resist and i couldn't, it was just to strong, we had fun though feeding him the map)

That is AWESOME. Also, uh, I didn't know conversion trap worked on rares. Um. Huh. Usually games don't let you do fun things like that with anything other than piddly little normals. I think I need to make a trapper sometime, just to screw around with stuff like this.
Oh, I accidentally had another soul eater bat go mental on me earlier this morning in like a T2 or T3 map, except this time, I managed to kill it by some miracle. No video to prove it, though. So, since this is the internet, I may as well not have done it. XD

Conversion trap is very strong. The converts are stupid as wet bread, though. They don't do a lot of damage because it seems that after they've been converted they need quite long to decide what to do next. However, it's nice to be affected by an "Allies cannot die" aura or the monster version of "Discipline" or those juicy damage auras.
Conversion Trap - Cluster Trap saved my life quite often. And you don't even need to be a trapper for that, just one or two free sockets.

interesting. i wonder what his actual attack speed is/was?
almost 3 years ago now i made a couple full attack speed builds. my usable build had 20.30 attacks per second, and my unusable build had 40. this was with the old frenzy gem, and obviously WAAAAY before any of this new uniques, ascendancies etc.
